I’m a lifelong Tigers fan and their run to end the season feels very Cinderella esque as well. They only had like 5% chance to make the post season 3 weeks ago. They really turned it on the late and man are they hot.
Feels good to have post season baseball back in Detroit after 10 long years even if it means having stressful arse games like today.

Detroit definitely qualifies as Cinderella. If they can win one of the next 2 in Houston and advance, they’d have Skubal starting twice in the ALDS which is huge. I’m just not so sure about their offense over the course of a 7 game series but they’ve obviously been doing it for like 2 months so I probably shouldn’t doubt it at this point

Home field advantage is probably less of a factor in baseball than any other sport. A couple runs takes a crowd right out of a game.
