The adjustment after he jumps is amazing.

Great catch but not an all timer IMHO
He was able to use the wall as a lever to help him adjust
Jim Edmunds laying out facing 180 degrees from the plate and catching it over his head is the best catch of all time. Better than Mays

I think the ability to do that just makes it better.

I am not AI savvy enough, but need someone to figure out who has caught the ball that was the highest over the top of the fence.

None of us can comment until Jerry chimes in on which Yankee player catch was the greatest catch of all time.

I'm surprised he's not here yet
This thread is about grabbing dongs - right up his alley

Pretty incredible but there have been so many it is hard to call one the best

To be clear, I’m not calling it THE best. I’m asking if it should be considered to be among the all-timers.

It’s def among the top “climb the wall” catches. But best catches? Ehhh. It’s not that overly difficult when compared to going straight back on a ball (like the Edmonds catch). Hell, it might not be the best catch HE has made this year. Gets a 10 on the “that’s cool” scale tho

Edmonds catch was 28 years ago today…man I feel old.

THE JUDGE wouldn’t have had to scale the fence to make that catch. Great catch though.

not even Clarke's best catch this week

I've seen better catches in the Quad.

Same here, that catch was comparable to this one

Dwayne Wise saving Buehrle’s perfect game is up there
