People like Mike Leach are what makes college football great and brings so much joy to so many people. It’s cliche but he’s truly irreplaceable.

This hurts. I don't even know what to say. I feel like we needed at least 20 more years from him.
He went out a winner and a winner in life.

In a sport that’s lost most of its fun and colorful coaches, Leach was one of the few left.
His interviews and pressers were always good instead of just your typical sterilized coaching cliche sound bytes

Terrible news. One of a kind coach with a larger than life personality.

I met Coach Leach one time. Was nothing but nice to me, even when I was clearly star-struck. Seemed like a great man and I hope his family and friends are hanging in there during this tough time...
