From what I’ve read, the rumor time line is 1) he had confrontation with wife at his house 2) he than went to staffer house and had another blow up 3) police locate him and arrest him 4) Michigan fires him after 1-3 take place
Are we sure on that?
I was under the impression that:
A.) he was fired
B.) 1-3 take place
No one has even confirmed that she is pregnant. We only know his wife just had twins? Or that seems to be a rumor also.

Firing someone for cause based on hearsay of an affair isn't going to hold up, even if everyone knows. These situations almost all end up in court.
Hearsay of an affair? UM almost definitely paid for his phone, could have searched records.
Would it have been totally crazy to hire a PI?
How about interview others around the situation?

She fine.
But I like our Paige better.
Apparently, Coach went after somebody in her camp and got himself arrested for criminal assault.
Damn, son.

quote:the university I coached at (small NAIA) for a bit had a old hag that hated the entire department and everyone in at as an office assistant. Back then she pissed me off but now I see why they did it.
Allowing the coach to have a cute young assistant was a big mistake. They should have insisted on a 50 something matron.

Costanza hired the ugly assistant and still banged her, so there really isn’t a solution to this problem.

mean, who cares if he is having an affair?
With someone that is under his line of management, at a tax payer funded institution to boot, is illegal and opens the school up to serious legal liability.
I hate myself for typing that last part

They waited until he had a bad season, and until after signing day, to act.
And if they get a new coach in time they’ll avoid portal devastation.
I 100% believe this was planned and timed as an exit strategy from a bad coach just like I suspect Michigan State did with Mel Tucker.
And that’s not to say they didn’t both deserve it. But just like Golden at Florida I suspect if they were both winning the schools would’ve found a way to make this go away.

I admittedly don't know much about the details of ol' girl. When you say subordinate, like was she actively working under him in football ops(no pun intended)? Or was she a "subordinate" in the sense she worked in the Michigan athletic department but not necessarily with the football team? If it's the former, then yeah, that can't happen.
Pretty sure the only way this happens is the former.

He was also dumb enough to almost double her salary from 50 to 100k in the span of a few months.

Ya’ll keep saying that and are likely right, but going from $58k to $90k from year 2-3 isn’t that unheard of.

Going from $58k to no raise to no increase in title and a nearly 60% raise and $90k is absolutely unheard of
But as usual you’re talking out of your arse with no clue about what’s going on

Oh there was a reason alright.

Except again, you are the idiot here.
What was 3 years ago jackass? Harbaugh was coach.
And no, why don’t you show me the average pay for your Big 4 jobs.
The biggest oddity here is $0 raise from year 1-2.
She went from an assistant under Harbaugh to the executive asst to the head coach.
There’s literally football coaches every day that get promoted from $150k to $400k jobs. 200%+. There’s guys that go from graduate assistant to a coach, from $50k to $350k. I’m sorry but $58k to $90k from year 2-3 doesn’t stand out in Athletic depts as a crazy pay bump.
Given that, it probably is here.

Executive assistant -> $58k
Executive assistant -> $58k
Starts banging the coach:
Executive assistant -> $90k
And I’m the idiot whole you’re arguing her raise isnt because she was fricking her boss

Imagine thinking you’re making a good point with this
I’m fascinated by who gave you your business and how self sufficient it must be. Because you’re a true retard

How do you not stop the affair at that point? Smh.
Based on the rumor mill it seems at least possible that she did stop it (possibly because he talked her into an abortion) and he then started stalking her and this led to her going to the admin yesterday.

When she, allegedly, gets pregnant and he is trying to physically harm everyone involved, that's when the school has to step in.
If you don't care that he's fricking a subordinate, why would her getting pregnant be something you do care about? That makes no sense.

She's had the same title her entire tenure at Michigan
Even her job responsibilities that have been reported seem to be basically the same.
Job 1 - "Her responsibilities in this role involved coordinating recruiting visits, managing operational logistics, and supporting the football program’s day-to-day functions."
Job 2 - "executive assistant to the head coach, a position that involved high-level administrative coordination, staff communication, and support during critical recruiting cycles"
An executive assistant isn't going to have a pay bump like that over 1 year with only 3 years total experience in college athletics admin unless she's screwing someone higher than her on the totem pole or is a nepo baby of someone else in the AD's office.
