I dont bet, but of i did, I 100% would have taken Miami. What was the spread?
I thought what happened in the 2nd half, would happen all game...Miami athletes taking over

1. #87 should in no way ever be on a field again. His absolute pussy non block allowed the blocked punt. What on earth does he think hes there for? Completely quit on his team

It looks really bad, and you might be right, but I suspect the punt is supposed to be out earlier than it was. If so, it's possible his assignment at that point isn't to block a guy running himself out of the play, but to watch downfield for where the returner is going and playing the return. Obviously he wouldn't start moving downfield yet if the ball isn't out, since he's reading the returner, who isn't moving, because the ball isn't out.

He definitely could've just blown it, but that looked so bad I figured it had to be "intentional" (insofar as he was executing a different assignment, not throwing the game). And the punt DID seem to take a while to come out.

Carson Beck noodle armed 2 different plays that could have been TDs or at least put them inside the 20.

They lost because of penalties and special teams.

I for one enjoyed the refs lack of calls. I hate refs dictating a game and enjoyed letting WRs and DBs play. Miami simply lost because Indiana. The play calling was fine on both sides. Indiana should have probably won by 1 more touchdown, they were definitely the better team.

But why try a rugby style punt in that situation? Seems foolish.

Meh, he did enough to win 90% of games. But yes, bad read at the end

I wonder how many people watching last night were watching beck for their first time ever.

He is the same now as he's always been. Great arm, will make several NFL style throws that make you raise your eyebrow how elite they were, then also throw a WTF ball into quadruple coverage and start crying and pouting if things aren't going perfectly. He is not a leader and has relied his entire career on being surrounded by better talent.

When he's in the NFL and everyone on defense is an all star he is not going to adjust well.

They lost because their special teams gave up 10 points (blocked punt and missed FG).

They very likely win the game if those two plays played out differently.

He threw none of those this season. In fact, his arm has been an actual liability this year.

Well that has stayed the same.

This right here. And the refs still let them grab Indianas receivers all night.

Maybe. If they get the punt off there is no guarantee that they stop Indiana from scoring, I would say them making the FG is much more impactful because then Beck isnt a full retard (idk maybe he still goes full on Beck) but they can play for the FG instead of the win and maybe they do more dinking and dunking instead of whatever that was at the end

I'm not saying this is the reason, but seeing Ray Lewis in Carson Beck's ear seconds before he's heading out for the final drive is wild.

I'm going to suggest that former players don't need that kind of access and that nobody other than the coaching staff should be talking to the QB in that situation during the game.

I realize these guys are extremely arrogant, but they need to have more respect for the game.

Fixed your #2

2. The DE for Miami doesn't jump offisides on the 3rd and long play on Indiana's first TD drive. Miami likely goes into half up 7-3.

I also don't think the up man on the blocked punt thought the punter was as wide as he was.

Very soft cushion on most plays, then total abuse when in man.

I hate when people use this against the player and not the defensive coaches. If #24 was not supposed to have a soft cushion, it would have happened a handful of times at most as they would have corrected his alignment throughout the game. The fact that it happened as much as it did should tell you that the soft cushion was by design; probably trying to protect him and they didn't have anyone else to plug in his place on the bench

Nah, youre wrong. On last 4th and 5, they put corners in man with no safety help and had 4 FOUR lb'ers who guarded no one! No exaggeration, they covered not 1 reciver.
Back shoulder throw and they got 20.....on #24, every time they needed a chunk, they threw his way
