Iowa has saved women's basketball.

It had become who can recruit the tallest, thickest Amazonian women who can't even shoot...the game was all under the bucket.

Look at LSU vs. South Carolina, every point was just put backs from fighting for offensive rebounds...

Defensive, rebounding focused style is SEC ball going back to how Summitt's teams played. Most ACC, PAC-12, and Big Ten teams, UCONN aren't like that.

It's just a fact how the brackets were seeded. It's the worst #1 seed draw probably ever...while South Carolina got a cake walk.

As for victimhood, what is Angel Reese doing? Two years of taunting opponents and posting revealing pics on Instagram and then crying after losing saying she's been sexualized and she's a victim of the press? Good lord, take the L. Nothing worse when a bully for fame takes the victomhood route after losing. She made it all about her in losing... Mulkey, coach her life up.

Iowa was the weakest #1 seed, did you expect them to get a cake walk?

What were the numbers for the UConn and USC game?

This women's Elite Eight was the most watched on record, ESPN said.

12.3 million watched Iowa-LSU
6.7 million watched USC-UConn
3.1 million watched Oregon State-South Carolina
2.5 million watched NC State-Texas

Giving this Elite Eight four of the round's five most-watched games on record.

Thursday Night Football

A Saturday morning cartoon probably gets higher ratings.

Who really watches this but the Mannings who have no jobs?

TNF is no barometer for comparing ratings.

I agree. For the short time. The reality is that folks are tuning in for 1 player. And she’s gone next year. Think Ted Lasso going to be a regular in Iowa city next year? I’m guessing not.

Ratings will be better than in the past, but will not grow much next year, if at all.

Iowa was the #2 1 seed, you don't have a clue what you are blabbing about...

I will never understand the fascination with college basketball. Men’s college basketball is ridiculously inferior to the NBA game and women’s college basketball is even worse. I just don’t get it.

The fascination with college basketball is that the vast majority of those young men and women play for the name on the "Front" of the jersey, unlike the pros, who plays for the name on the "Back of the jersey". JMO

I do think that Reese and Clark may actually bring some little girls/women to watch the wnba. I don’t think it’ll be super popular but I do think maybe they’ll find a niche.

If Reese can make a roster. I have my doubts.

Iowa had the worst resume of all the #1 seeds. Please be real with yourself.

This myth has already been disproven. If this were the case, she’d be pulling these numbers every game. Discounting the viewers that LSU & Reese ALSO brought to this game is hilarious. LSU is a national BRAND. Iowa is a landmass with corn.
