I don't see why we care if they call themselves University of Louisiana?

We don't. They care, so we make fun of them for it because they are the only ones who refer to themselves as UL. I only say ULL cause that's what it's called. If it were really UL, I'd say that. University of Louisiana will never sound as cool as Louisiana State University, so they lose either way.
