If it were a given that we had to lose a game (let's say God points a gun at your head and says, "You have to lose a conference game, but you get to pick which one"), then strategically the one to lose would be Georgia.
We could still get to Pasadena with a loss against Georgia (and to a lesser extent, Florida - the choice would be to lose to the better team betwen the two). But a loss to any Western opponent? We're done.

I will concede that Phil Steele does a better job of preseason analysis than anybody else. He's a great number-cruncher, and has a very good understanding of the game. His magazine is entertaining reading.

I will also guarantee you that Phil Steele makes WAY more money from selling his magazine than he does in Vegas.

100% disagree. Butch was a very good hire. He's up against it now, but he will have his team winning sooner instead of later. He's a much better coach than idiot Vol fans deserve.

Not difficult at all to find out where he lives if you'd like to do something about it.
