If you don't think LSU has a huge hand in state politics then you are dumber than I thought.

Louisiana is either the only one or one of two states to not have a University of State. I didn't even really care that much to be honest. I just think it's hilariously naive to think that LSU doesn't have anything to do with it.

You've continuously blamed LSU's influential boogeymen for blocking this branding in thread after thread on this topic for what seems like years now, but Louisiana's Bulldogs, Louisiana's Cowboys, Louisiana's Privateers, Louisiana's Lions, Louisiana's Warhawks, Louisiana's Demons, Louisiana's Colonels, and Louisiana's Tigers (and this is not LSU, for the mentally challenged amongst us) are the ones who would be most likely to block such a move in the legislature.
LSU was not responsible for blocking the SUNO-UNO merger. The outcry came from all over the state, since everyone knew that their own bowl of rice might be next to be merged.
