Because TTU completely fricked him

He was a non-scholarship walk-on at TTU. That isnt semantics, that is a huge difference

Clay Travis blocked me for complimenting him on putting the Bama teabagger in prison.

how is this relevant?

The reason why these transfers are blocked is because of information. I could argue that since he had to sit out, he had more time to sit down with the defensive staff and spill all of the hand signals and checks.

If the kid isn't good enough to play at your school and has graduated, you should have ZERO say in to where he transfers to.

If Tech had Mayfield on scholarship, you better believe they would have blocked him from going to OU.

But they didn’t, so they couldn’t.

Also, is Clay Travis the nascar guy who was forced to pretend he gives a shite about other sports?

Are the transfer rules the same as in the past, or is it now largely, immediate eligibility?

If so, there needs to be stiffer rules within Conference in play by the NCAA, aka sitting out. Kids shouldn't unintentionally, or intentionally, shift power and affect title races by punitive and emotional means, but rather true best self interests..which I suspect can and will become a factor in coming years with this new transfer policy at hand.

Players should be able to transfer wherever they want, even if it is within the same conference.

Coaches who place any kind of restrictions suck.

He's graduated from OU, so he's eligible to transfer out of conference and play immediately, or transfer within the conference and play now, if OU approves.

Yeah, let's let the NCAA determine what the best interests are for each individual player. Makes sense.

Baker Mayfield transferred from TTU to OU. OU threw a massive hissy fit about TTU meddling with the situation. It's fricking hypocritical for OU to take this position now.

This.

But they're literally land thieves and proud of it, so...

Until Hurts makes a decision I'm guessing Riley doesn't want Kendall to leave.

I like the new SEC rule. They should be able to go wherever they want and I don't care if it means someone going from another SEC school to a SEC school.
