Not only that, Thanksgiving is the week of upsets every year.

Wrong, Zachary wouldn't meet up with Ponchy until the semifinals.

so how am I overstating it?
Because you're saying that people would flock to the dome for this game. It would set a record because it would be 2 big time NOLA teams in the final, not because everyone can't wait to see Rummel play John Curtis.

So you're saying NOLA fans in general don't want to see Rummel Curtis when we've been waiting a decade for it?

I would go see a Rummel-Curtis Final, and I have no affiliation with either.

Yeah, I think what I was thinking was that they were only going to face either Ponchatoula or Acadiana. That makes their bracket a little easier.

Rummel Curtis would not break single game record set by Jesuit and st aug in 78
In fact I would be surprised if it would be half

Rummel vs Barbe had 33k in 2012.
half of the 78' game would be 22k. So you're telling me a Rummel vs Curtis game wouldnt draw 22k? When Barbe vs Rummel, 33k came out?

you'll see. If it happens it will come close, if not break it

No way Barbe is making it to the title game. Sure they are young and have gotten better but it was shocking to see West Monroe dismantle them so easily.

How bad is JC this year that catholic can beat them?
I think catholic will have a very very good chance of making some noise if they utilize Guice out of the slot more.

Biggest factor helping WM is should they play Byrd, it's Thanksgiving week, which is when the upsets happen. Honestly, Destrehan worries me more than Byrd just because Byrd's offense feeds into WM's strength.

I haven't been super-impressed with Catholic. I saw parts of most of their district games. Their district was very average outside of them, and arguably the worst Dutchtown team ever played even with them but couldn't close, and Woodlawn hung with them. They scored a ton vs. EA but who doesn't? They dominated STA. Didn't see McKinley.
