Can't stop the Bus! May be able to get through Op Catholic, but I got no money on them passing CNI.

Div 1 John Curtis vs Archbishop Rummel (will break attendance records)
Lesty I aint being a dick, you know you are my boy, but Rummel has been outnumbered by both Byrd and Wm when they played in the dome. They really dont bring that many fans. The attendance wont come close to when WM use to play Evangel

Easy now...pump the brakes a bit. While those two guys are good looking football players, they both played their respective positions last year and couldn't survive Opelousas Catholic at home (who is actually better this year and played CHNI tough in week 8). Oh yeah, and then you get CHNI. People throughout the state (especially the New Orleans area) seem to have forgotten that CHNI took Calvary to the wire in the Semifinals last year and should have won. CHNI is also better this year than they were last year.

Debatable

I know we had more than WM. I was at that game. Wasn't at the Byrd game

Rummel vs Barbe had like 30k

Rummel vs Curtis would break records. Fact.

I was at that game too. Had pergame drinks at Borgne with a lot of Rummel fans at the bar...good times.

I sat on the Barbe side, and in large part their crowd #'s were due to them never being to the Dome.

The Roth - JT slug fest will be a fun one to watch. I think it's bullshite that the non-5A play up teams were able to pad their rankings with play-up points. That needs to be addressed by LHSAA.

Just let Curtis in the Catholic league and that would solve that wouldn't it?

Curtis CHS will be a good game. That will be hard to predict.

STM also got a bye. Put them into the Catholic league too?

The only team JC played in the Catholic League was St. Aug. Who won? The only team Aug beat in the Catholic League was Shaw. But hey, JC is a quality 1 seed! The system sucks.

And I realize this is a "down year" for JC, and the Catholic League still doesn't want them in.

Probably. Hopefully OC takes care of Newman though and CHSNI gets OC at home for the semis. Would suck having to travel to New Orleans for the semis and then the State Championship in back to back weeks.

No argument from me, but HWY 90 to New Orleans and back in successive weeks would be unfortunate.

If JC is such a poor team, you guys shouldn't have any problem dispatching them. And why are you so upset about me saying JC should be in the Catholic league? They are a lesser program right? Should be an easy victory each week for you guys.

Rummel is unbeaten and beat ESJ, Hahnville, Acadiana, Dutchtown, Catholic, Holy Cross, Jesuit, Brother Martin, St. Aug, Shaw.

John Curtis is 9-1 and played in a district with Lusher, McMain and De La Salle. They also lost to their one common opponent.

It doesn't matter because they are on opposite sides of the bracket, but to give Curtis a higher seed than Rummel is downright criminal just on general principle.

I don't disagree, but the system was in place before the first game was even played, but no one complained until week 10. Oh well at that point.

Because we see how stupid it is once it played out.

Then correct it in the off-season, but deal with it now. The way several posters on this board make it sound, Curtis should lose in the first or second game anyway so this shouldn't be a big issue.
