Sandstorm is the single gayest thing in CFB, even after the fact that South Carolina shares a league with Aggy

Psu 96 was very very loud. Dayne's breakout game. A 4th quarter defensive interception in front of the student section had to be one of the loudest moments in stadium history.

Do a beer price discount pregame.

Oversell the section. You arrive too late? Too bad.

Get them their seats quicker.

Auburns eagle flight is damn cool.

always loved it when Les Miles LSU teams would run out the tunnel to Welcome to the Jungle.

Always liked how he would hold the team back before they ran out the tunnel

Sounds a touch jealous with this reply. What entrance does your boyfriend like?

I don't know what Clemson sportswriter of grad assistant named their entrance, the self-proclaimed "most exciting 25 seconds in College Football"
Brent Musburger penned it in back in the 80s while calling games for CBS. Before piping in music that is related to popular modern entrances was a thing.

The bus ride and the hill happened organically. The original field house was not at the stadium. As mentioned the team would walk to the stadium and simply enter by jogging down the hill. The rock was added in the 60s for the players to rub for good luck but still not a lot of fanfare.

In the early 70s Clemson stopped running down the hill when Hootie Ingram was coach and after the stadium was upgraded. New locker rooms were built on the opposite side of the hill due to the natural terrain. There wasn’t a lot of opposition to the change.

After having 3 bad seasons in a row the Clemson faithful felt like rubbing the rock and running down the hill was what brought them good luck. Midway through the season the team began jumping on buses and started back the tradition of running down the hill and they started to win games again.

It’s a unique tradition as Clemson is the only team to actually enter through their crowd. The fans can be a few feet away and reach out and touch them. There’s no other instance where the team and fan base have that interaction. And then after the game fans are allowed on the field with the teams.

It isn’t about the song. It’s about the overall experience.

It's a long video but this is cool shite. This is the kind of vibe and party that makes kids wanna be there for it.

Been a while since I’ve been to a game at the upside down cockroach… thank God.

It does always impress me watching the rednecks in Columbia go absolutely apeshit for a chicken rising out of a smoke filled train.

Yup, that was one idea I thought would work too. And more revenue for the school.

Some people told us about that when we were there for Notre Dame last year but we were up in the far reaches and decided to just get to the Esso Club.

Until the OP mentioned it, I couldn't have told you what VT's entrance was, so it can't be that iconic. FSU's flaming spear, Ralphie, USC Trojan and Traveller, Vols Power T are all waaaaaay more noted and iconic - as well as AU's War Eagle.

There is nothing better than being in a stadium at this moment of the game. The score is still 0-0. Everyone has hope that it's their day. The energy is palpable. I love this stuff!
