He can play all 5 positions at an elite level on both ends of the court.

Jordan can't.

So yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and take LeBron over MJ.

But we know you and cptbengal would choose MJ and you’re both all in on false flag mass shootings conspiracies so maybe the MJ/LBJ choice isn’t the best litmus test for one’s psychological well-being.

On what fricking planet is this a net positive for MJ?

He literally quit the sport and people like him even more for it.

If you are stuck in the 4-8 seed and a scorer away you take MJ

Only player in history to lead league in scoring and win DPOY

Still one of the craziest things in American sports history. It's the equivalent of an NFL player leading the league in offensive touchdowns and winning DPOY as well.

The skill and endurance required to be that good every night on both ends is ridiculous.

Any stat that says the 2011 Mavericks or 2012 Thunder were better teams than the 1996 Sonics or the 1997-1998 Jazz is a worthless stat.

We can argue the two as who is better I guess, but most would all agree Lebron is more versatile. In addition, Lebron has spent his career playing more difficult defensive schemes than Jordan.

Would you really argue about taking the 6’8 260 lb player who can play all over the court (post up, shoot from outside, drive, guard basically anyone), never gets hurt, and never gets tired?

What part of Lebron’s game would someone improve? Make him an inch taller and longer? Make him shoot a slightly higher FT%? At this point Lebron is basically the perfect video game specimen.

Do you know what net efficiency is?

It's the difference in points scored and points given up per 100 possessions. It's a stat with very little significance comparatively across eras and is ultimately worthless if you're using it to call one team better than another from decades prior.

See, an NFL player doing that actually WOULD be one of the craziest things in American sports history. Since you know, NFL players don't generally play offense and defense.

Every basketball player plays both offense and defense. Someone like Anthony Davis has s legit chance to accomplish this in the next few years.

It's very impressive and a great accomplishment. But you can stop the hyperbole now.

He played when you just guarded your man. Basketball was SO easy for elite players back then.

He never had to run guys off the line for 48 minutes. Was switching a thing then? I don't even know.

Guys now have multiple assignments every play and have to close out on everything because 8 out of 10 players on the court can shoot.

What Jordan had to do on defense to be considered great at it is a complete joke

This is such a nonsense argument. If the number of championships was the only achievement given in the OP, then I could agree with you. However there are plenty of “individual” achievements on MJ’s resume along with his team achievements that put plenty of distance between MJ and Horry.
