Didn't read all of this, but happened to catch this quote:
Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line.
This year Lebron is averaging 35/9/9 on 55% shooting
Last year was 32/8/9 on 57% shooting.
Half of that list probably consists of shite numbers.

Many of these awards they don’t give to Lebron because of fatigue of him easily being better than the second best player in the current NBA.
Additionally, defenses are completely different now and someone like Lebron would destroy the defenses they had in the 90s.
No reason to debate this topic anymore, but many of the items above are either subjective or team accomplishments.

This is a long arse post just to say that Lebron is better than Jordan at everything except Jordan takes more shots per game, gets more steals, and is a better free throw shooter if you take out team achievements and voting
Lebron averages 29 ppg on 21 shots at a 49.1% clip in the playoffs compared to Jordan's 33.5 ppg on 25.1 shots at a 48.7% clip.
Also lebron averages 8.9 rebounds and 7 assists to Jordan's 6.4 and 5.7
Those are all career playoff stats.
Lebron effective fg% .528 Jordan .503
Im glad you think being the best volume shot taker and free throw shooter makes you the GOAT, but ill go with that guy that is better at everything else

I'm doubting all of your numbers now.

A lot of his numbers are wrong. Lebron has the higher playoff fg % but he has it the other way around

Maybe it's a list from like 2 years ago or something. Multiple stats on there are just flat out wrong.

You can have Jordan and Lebron as 1a and 1b; however, the list posted is just stupid.
Posted on 6/1/18 at 4:30 pm to sgallo3
I love how they invent stats for lebron... and he's still #2

Posted on 6/1/18 at 4:48 pm to ReauxlTide222
The GOAT argument is dumb. Comparing greats from different generations is retarded. MJ and LeBron are the two best basketball players of all time. Who is better will always be split 50/50, so instead let’s just enjoy both for their greatness
Posted on 6/1/18 at 4:53 pm to sgallo3
Take a look at the Net Efficiency Rating for the opponents they both faced in the finals:
The best team Jordan ever faced has a worse Net Efficiency Rating than the worst team Lebron has faced.

Well I ASSURE that if MJ scored 51 in a finals his team would not have lost.....

And then your dumb arse lists a bunch of shite that can't legitimately be compared until after LeBron retires. So stupid.

He scored 63 in a playoff game against the Celtics and lost.
He scored 50 in a playoff game against the Cavs and lost.

You didn't need all those stats.
Nobody is taking LeBron over Jordan unless they're mental and don't like winning.

So I'm gonna go ahead and assume most if not all of that list is false
Ironic with all the made up facts considering most people mis-remember things during the Jordan era due to being shitfaced on nostalgia.
