Better than it is now.... And MJ was Able to beat teams from the west... Bron had to go TO Miami to join an all-star team just to win... And still lost to A SOFT Mavs team in 2011.................. Face it... MJ OVERALL was A better player.........

Lebron is a career 34.4% 3pt shooter on 4.1 attempts per game.
Jordan is a career 32.7% 3pt shooter on 1.7 attempts per game.
How is that even a question to you?

Bringing up lebron losing to the mavs is like me bringing up mj failing to get past the pistons before he became elite

Really???? MJ didn't LEAVE his team to join A so called super team and them get crushed by one of the softest teams ro ever win A title.........
Ill agree that MJ had better coaching and Pippen.... Cool... But he never left HIS team........ I will also say that Bron has been a BEAST in these playoffs... But he can score 50 every game and his team will still lose the series...
Like it or not.. I am A BRON fan... I think he is unreal at this point in his career.... Just still not at MJ's level...........

It could be said that Michael leaving the bulls to retire both times me he didn’t strive for ultimate greatness, and that he didn’t love his team or teammates enough to stick around until it served him once again.
For all the stuff people say about Lebron, Michael Jordan is one of the most narcissistic sociopathic figures in sports history.

I will NEVER disagree with this.... MJ was A heartless bitch... But he was an exceptional competitor.... He was Brilliant.... There is NO debating this IMO... He knew he was the best already and worked his arse off to get even better..........
Like I have said Bron is doing incredible things for being 33 and have ALL those Miles on his legs... Its just amazing with him playing with a bunch of scrubs....

Peej, you do remember complete unrestricted free agency didn't exist in the NBA until the mid-1990s, correct? MJ didn't have the negotiating leverage then that he did at the end of his Bulls tenure when he was on one-year deals, LeBron in his context had that freedom and leverage and acted in his best interests much to the chagrin of the old-timers who hate unions and want players to be bound to one team for their entire careers and all that jazz.

I've said this for a while in these debates:
MJ was a better perimeter defender, free throw shooter, and mid range jump shooter.
LeBron was a better interior defender, three point shooter, passer, rebounder, post offensive player, and finisher at the rim.
I prefer LeBron's wider range of excellence, but you can't go wrong with Jordan either, obviously.

Yeah, people give MJ kudos for staying with the Bulls when he legitimately didn't have a choice until they were already winning championships.

Lebron has to deal with Gilbert as an owner, he wins.

Him leaving to go somewhere else I have zero problem with... But it tarnishes his legacy compared to MJ..... IMO.....Plus remember the Bron on ESPN making a production out of him going to Miami and then when all three come out they started counting how many titles they would win???? I DO.. They won 2 and lost to the softest NBA champs EVER.......

It's a stupid thing to tag LeBron with. That Mavs team was great. They were on pace to win 60+ before Dirk and Caron got hurt midseason. They swept the 2 time defending champion Lakers that everyone had pegged as the eventual team for the Finals out of the playoffs w/multiple blowouts. They kicked the shite out of a Thunder team that had Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka. Their offensive flow was incredible w/the space opened up by Dirk and the shooters around him. There were excellent 3 point shooters all over the court, they had multiple legit bigs to protect the paint, they could switch all over the court due to Kidd and Marion's abilities to defend multiple positions.
Cuban breaking up a team that FINALLY fit around Dirk in order to chase Dwight was a massive mistake and fricked up that team's legacy.

I actually thought The Decision was genius on LeBron's part because it was captivating, mysterious, such a huge sports event for that particular day and built great anticipation for the sports-consuming public worldwide which is WHAT GREAT BUSINESSPEOPLE AND ENTERTAINERS DO. Peej, you know The Decision was the most-watched cable show of that specific night and drew high Nielsen ratings? I mean genius FO REALZ.

Dirk played out of his mind too in that playoff run.

Funny how the 2011 Mavs have become so underrated in order to diminish LeBron. They were a 57 win team who went on an absolute tear in the playoffs. Swept the 2x defending champion Lakers. Beat OKC in 5. Beat Miami in 6.
LeBron didn't show up, no argument from me, but the Mavs were a worthy champion.

Im not trying to say this... Im saying that when they came on stage they started counting how many titles they would win... Are you telling me that Miami was NOT the favorite to win that title?????

Aside from his 3 point shooting it was actually fairly typical for his playoff performances.
