I like McAfee, don’t understand all the hate he gets. Kirk I lost some respect for because he shilled heavily for an undeserving Alabama team to get into the playoffs.

I’m not a fan of “look at me”, pro wrestling promo style sports talk. I’m sure he’s fine for wrestling and maybe I’d like him if I still watched wrestling. I’m not that audience nor are a lot of people who watch college football.

Same. At first he did not fit in to the "serious gentlemen talking seriously about a serious sport" mold that Gameday has been stuck in ever since Corso had his stroke and couldn't provide much levity any more, but once he got everyone to loosen up a little bit the show has been a lot more fun. I guarantee that without his addition we wouldn't have got the normally-staid-to-the-point-of-comatose Desmond yelling about "Big Penix energy," and we would all be poorer for that.

Not gently forcing Corso out in 2019 and making the last entire month of the season a huge goodbye tribute to him was worse.
He was declining and bad, but not this bad 5 years ago. Now whatever tribute to him will be sad.

I've come to like Pat, he at least seems to understand being on TV unlike some of these ex players they randomly pick to be on TV who have no idea how to do it. Kirk can frick right off, he's really showed his arse in the last week. Whatever that podcast he was on the other day where he bitterly talked about people bitching at him and not looking "at the fricking facts". I get that you're on a podcast and don't have to watch your language like on GameDay, but he was angrily melting to the point where I was kind of shocked. He says FSU fans aren't looking at the facts, all while every bullet points he gives is subjective. His Ohio State education is started to show up

Its a college football show done live, I am not sure what more people want from the hosts. Whoever else would be brought in would be hated as well. Just enjoy it for what it is. I am really not sure what anyone wants to see on Gameday anymore.
If only they could bring back Gameday final with Reece, Lou, and Mark May.
