I can. Spend some time around 12 year olds nowadays and you’ll imagine dropping a couple too.

No argument here about the reality of it. I just said it's not respectable.

"Showbiz", buy its very nature, is dishonest, corrupt, and shady - which is why ... wait for it ... most people in showbiz are dishonest, corrupt, and shady. Very few honorable people have come out of that industry.

Assuming Tyson comes in in shape he literally could kill him if he wanted to

57 isn’t ancient, his fist would still have lethal power. No way they will allow a real head shot

If Paul lasts more than 1 round then it’s clearly staged. Even at this age, Tyson should be able to knock him out without issues

I suggest watching Jake’s documentary on Netflix to anyone that hasn’t seen it, it’ll change your perspective a little on him. It’s a quick watch too. Have a ton of respect for him now and his ability to play the public and generate revenue. Used to hate the guy but then you quickly realize it’s 80% an act.

I watched it, and I tend to agree with you to an extent. While it was cringe as frick, he does have a true skill for manipulating people and figuring out a way to make shite loads of money in the process. That said, Tyson was quoted in that documentary multiple times saying positive things about him and how he is bringing back the sport of boxing, so this isn’t a true surprise. However, that alone tells me this won’t be a real fight. I think a 57-year-old Tyson could hurt him badly because he is not a boxer. I just don’t think Tyson wants to hurt him.

Ok

If it’s anything less than Tyson knocking him out inside of a round, it’s fixed

I feel like this is so disrespectful to Mike's legacy. He is a couple years away from 60. Of course there's a very good chance that he loses this fight. But if he was 20 years younger, it wouldn't even be a fair fight.

This would be like if Michael Jordan agreed to play some random G-league player 1-on-1. It's just stupid.

Got potential.

Tyson needs to chomp at Paul's ear and spit out blood" for max WWE effect.

(And...Is Don King still alive?)

Let's face it -- ALL sports are sliding to WWE-type performances & results on and off the field/court/ring. Can not take any "profe$$ional" $port $eriously anymore.

So, you "have a ton of respect" for a guy who puts on an act to rip people off from their money?

That's kinda odd.

You mean Tyson's legacy of being a wife abuser, rapist, ear eater, and all around insane behavior and actions since Cus D'amato died. Tyson frick up any boxing legacy after that. He's been a joke ever since Buster Douglas put him on his arse.

Now I will give him credit, he has restored his reputation in the last decade, but don't act like his boxing career is beyond reproach.

Comparing Michael Jordan to Mike Tyson professionally is apples to oranges.

From a few years ago. However, if Tyson comes in like this he will kill him if it’s truly real
