I don't know much about the other guy, but I bet a lot of people tune in for Jake Paul

It still amazing that George Foreman held the heavyweight title at 46 years 169 days old.

Unreal.

Most boxing matches are between two friends, or at minimum, mutually respected colleagues. They don't usually hate each other's guts.

I would NEVER underestimate Tyson, I watched him not long ago reviewing different televised footage of different types of fighting matches, UFC, MMA etc… He definitely had excellent commentary and technique explanations for each fight. He knows boxing in and out and he’s in tip top shape. His workout routine they showed was absolutely brutal for someone his age.
He is still Bad arse AF.
My 2 cents

Mike must still be hard up for money. There is zero upside for him here. Win and you kill a guy you were expected to and lose and you get dogged.

I love Mike, and I love boxing and would hate to see him lose, but he's probably the most overrated heavyweight fighter of all time. One of the greats, but it drives me crazy that there are people out there that think Tyson is the greatest heavyweight of all time, much less the greatest boxer in general.

57 is on the edge of the grave for most boxers.
I'm the same age as Tyson. Believe me when I tell you, after 50 you lose pretty much everything. Speed, quickness, strength, the will to get out of bed every morning. It sucks but there it is. If Tyson catches a mediocre to average 27 year old boxer with a good shot, he could end it. If he doesn't, he loses an ugly fight

My thoughts:

Tyson must need the money
Paul continues to be an opportunist and take advantage of everyone.

Comparing Michael Jordan to Mike Tyson professionally is apples to oranges.

Agree. There have been very few even in the atmosphere of Jordan. Mike was "the man" for like 4 years. Jordan's still going strong respectfully 40 years in. He is "the man" of male athletes. .

Guessing Tyson has agreed to take a fall and to be paid very handsomely for it. I will say, though, that Tyson is a bit of a wild card. If I were Paul, I'd be a little nervous about Tyson following the gameplan. Tyson surprised Roy Jones Jr by trying to take his head off during an ostensibly friendly exhibition.

No doubt if this is REAL Tyson knocks Jake's head clean off early. Even at 58 years old.

From a few years ago. However, if Tyson comes in like this he will kill him if it’s truly real

I feel like people don’t know that Mike fought 4 years ago. Mike looked good going into that fight (as he does now in pictures and YouTube videos), but he fought an out of shape Roy Jones Jr in 2 minute rounds that ended in a draw. It was a sad display of a fight seeing two all time greats trying to hang on to some dignity and Tyson showed some bursts. But a young boxer with a 1/10 of Tyson’s skill would have beaten him that night.

Tyson is 4 years older now and not for the better. Conditioning will be a big advantage for Paul even though he can’t even dream of being as good as Tyson was and I think even more so working against Tyson though is the ability to be able to take a shot at his age. Old boxers just have so much working against them abs Tyson is a great grandpa in boxing years. I hope Mile knocks his arse out but I can see him getting beat, much less killing Paul.

Mike respected Roy as a boxer, it was an exhibition. It was fun to see the two greatest of my generation in the ring. Pound for pound Roy Jones Jr in his prime was the most elite technical boxer I ever saw. If the Tyson in the X videos shows up and decides he has to show something to the world, Paul will be destroyed. Tyson, like Jones, is a student of boxing. He still has speed and power at 57. If that bulldog mentality kicks in, Paul is in for a short night. Paul is going to realize he made a huge mistake if Tyson does not respect him.

Mike Tyson is too freaking old. Big name but just way too old. Tyson’s last fight was 19 years ago and he got his arse whooped by an average boxer.

Hate to say it but Jake Paul will knock him out and this is not due to Jake’s ability.
