eah, I don't see how anyone could argue Tiger over Jack at this point. Tiger was dominant but he had half a career. Jack played at an elite level for over 25 years and then dominated the Senior Tour for another 10 just for good measure.

Pretty simple - if you have to win a tournament to save your life, you’re taking prime Tiger over any other golfer.

Also, 82 > 73. That plus his major and amateur career are enough.

Everyone seems to be saying he has food poisoning or the stomach bug and was basically shitting himself on the sixth tee.

If that’s indeed the case then seems to be just a very unfortunate occurrence. Although could be related to something he took for his back I suppose.

He's almost 50 years old.most of the greats experienced big drop offs starting in their mid 40s with periodic flourishes in there like Nicklaus but by 45 they are usually on their way down

Really?
Tigers peak dominates Jack. Also, Tiger leads jack in total wins as well

If you want to have Jack ahead because of 19 vs 17 that’s fine, but it’s very easy to see why someone would have tiger

Tiger leads jack in almost every single category outside majors

His body can't take it anymore. It's sad watching someone in his state. Just retire and enjoy life and your son playing.

PEDs enhance performance.

Jack was clean. Tiger, not so much.

How do you know Jack was clean. Roids ran rampant in the 70s and 80s with no real testing. And Jack got nice and trim from being a fatty when he was young. Roids help burn fat

Also, jack ripped the ball further than anyone in his time….

Maybe but that's not what we're debating here. If I had to complete one last pass to win a game, I'm taking prime Randy Moss instead of Jerry Rice. But NOBODY would argue any WR had a better career than Jerry Rice. And the career measurement is everything.

Tiger had HALF of a career. It was the best HALF of a career anybody has ever seen in golf and possibly even every sport but it was HALF a career. And it was all self-inflicted too. It's not like Bo Jackson having his hip ripped out of the socket on a fluke tackle leaving us to wonder "what if..." Tiger f--ked himself up in every conceivable way that matters to the sport of golf and his fan boys don't get to pretend like the last 13 years never happened.

Tiger had HALF of a career.
That “half career” produced more wins than Jack, higher cuts made pct than jack, better scoring average to field than jack, more player of the year awards compared to jack

So, I mean, you are just wrong saying jack CLEARLY had a better career

You are trying to make this jerry rice vs moss comparison is wrong. Jerry has Moss beat on all categories in total

The comparison could be Tiger has more yards and receptions than jack, but jack has more tds.

Even for career total cumulative stats, tiger leads jack in many, if not most

CAREER achievements by Tiger. So cumulative CAREER stats he leads in

Tied for Most wins all time

Lowest career scoring average in PGA history

Woods set the all-time PGA Tour record for most consecutive cuts made, with 142

Woods is the only player to have won all four professional major championships in a row

Woods has won a record 22.8% (82 out of 359) of his professional starts on the PGA Tour.

Woods has been the PGA Player of the Year a record eleven times

Woods has been the Vardon Trophy winner a record nine times.

Woods is kinda like Jerry rice n your comparison actually….

I would put big money on him never winning another 72 hole tournament, much less another Major.

Senior PGA awaits in less than 2 years.
He can ride a cart and play against the same guys he used to wax 15-20 years ago.

Just as much evidence he was as tiger. Both had body changed and both hit it further than everyone else

It’s just such a stupid fricking thing everyone brings up about any successful athlete in the 2000s. “Well he was on roids”

It completely ignores the fact roids were the most rampant in sports from the 70s-90s with absolutely no real testing for it either
