i dont care about St. Augustine. I had never even heard of it until this thread.

yeah it was, at least more than the Jags: they had a few colorful coaches & players, started off like 0-30 or whatever is was. Couldn't even win with Steve Young, first black starting QB, stuff like that. Plus the old sombrero was kind of cool.

Also, like I said, Tampa would be high on this list as well.

Agreed. I work all over the state of Florida and if I had to move there I would be going to St Augustine/Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra area. Not sure why it gets so much hate.

Again it's not "hate". if Jacksonville was a hateable city, like say Dallas is, then i wouldnt have made this thread.

Even Buffalo has the Bills Mafia and they invented Buffalo Wings and have snow games.

Shhh.

If people find out the area is really nice then traffic will get worse.

Jax sucks people. Keep driving South and figure out if you want to turn right at Daytona or not from there.

It would be a sleepy place to spend your 20/early 30s but a great place to be in your 40 and on.

I don't think Jacksonville sucks. If it sucked that would be something to make it at least somewhat interesting, like Detroit or Cleveland.

I have no feelings about Jacksonville at all, it's just a place. that's the problem.

Traveled there a few times on business 2012-2015 time frame, don't remember a whole lot about the city other than the bridges and large amount of homeless people downtown.

I can certainly agree with this. Especially if you play golf.

Name three people that care.

This is a very odd "look at me and my opinion" thread.

If one sports team and its fans are the only thing a town has that's interesting, then that's the definition of bland.

What is there to do the other 2/3rds of the year?

Well you should suck less at communicating and thread making.

Jax actually has the youngest population in the entire state by a good bit or at least it did about 10 years ago.
