Is Jacksonville the most bland US city/pro team combination?

So glad they aren't in the Super Bowl, they really shouldn't even have a franchise.

When someone says "Jacksonville" to you, what do you think of? I can't think of anything at all. When I think of the Jags I think of a bland expansion team with USFL logo/unis. Just awful.

Kansas City is up there too but I guess seeing Arrowhead and hearing what a loud stadium it is has made the Chiefs interesting.

The Panthers are on the list too, the 1995 expansion was terrible tbh

I loved the first coast area. Good people, nice weather, lots of stuff to do outdoors. Not surprised that you’d try and come up with a shitty hot take trying to disparage it.

I think it was obvious the NFL wanted to expand its popularity in the South by expanding into areas that were originally dominated by college sports.

NC - College basketball
SC - College football
North FL - College football

Why the hell did you visit Jacksonville of all places?

Where are you going this year, Albuquerque?

I lived in Saint Augustine for years. Right down the road. People can do a metric frick ton worse than living in and around the jville area in terms of quality of life.

the team itself has been fairly interesting though

Charlotte is continually listed among the top US cities to live in

nothing bland about the city, and everyone hates Cam Newton so at least there's some intrigue when we play

So have the Jags at different times. They just came out of a dark age but the late 90s Brunell Jags were fun and they had a couple of solid teams with Del Rio and David Garrard
