I'm in no way a soccer guy but that was a fantastic game. Really enjoyed it.
And you had no dog in the fight. Imagine if you had a rooting interest. Soccer is fun.

It’s a great day when el tri fails especially in their bullshite fortress and the refs trying to pull them along.

If one does not like soccer than they were not tuned in from the start. If you are a casual fan you might have tuned in and continued watching it as it got more interesting once the Brit got tossed and they were playing a man down. It was a fun game to watch. Go team USA today,

Imagine for a second you turned back time. You’re 10 years old and just won your first pee wee football game. You arrive home and the first thing your skinny fat beta male tranny father does is plop down on the couch to watch some soccer. Absolutely embarrassed you’d be, and disown him you would.

Somehow, despite watching most of the game, I missed all 5 goals and a red card while I was out of the room.

US/Mexico should be jointly hosting the WC every 12-16 years. No chance we go 30 again after this.

The last 4-5 minutes of the first half were intense! Mexico had 3-4 shots on goal.
Thought England was toast after the red card. But their defense was great.

Continents can’t host within 2 cycles or something like that I read. Probably why it’s so spread out.

I have a feeling that rule is going to change with the combination of the expanded field and the fact that fewer groups of countries are going to want to do it. It's too expensive I'm like the Olympics.

Or maybe FIFA changes Its requirements on stadiums. There just aren't that many countries that can do something like this due to the stadium requirements.

I fell back asleep at halftime. Seemed like the first half was better anyways.

Yep. To be a man down for 50 minutes or so and not allow a goal till the end while scoring a goal is incredible. Don't watch that much soccer, but that was fun to watch.

I saw something that after the next 2 the only ones actually capable via the rules are US/Mexico

Basically no one that would qualify to host had the infrastructure needed to do it, not sure how true it was but made sense.
