Live in 1970s Zaire? Hope you'd have good seats and bodyguards and not be white.

Would we be able to bet on the match?

Anything Leonard vs Hearns, Hagler or Duran. Best fights ever. But I’d really like to see the first round of Hearns vs Hagler. That was the most intense, vicious round of boxing ever and will never be matched.

1. Ali-Frazier 3 - Thrilla in Manilla
2 - Hagler - Hearns
3 - Ali-Frazier 1

Another savage beating I’d like to have seen was Baer vs Primo Carnera. Baer knocked him down like 11 times in 11 rounds and Carnera broke his ankle on one of them.

Sugar Ray Leonard - Duran 1st fight
Was an absolute war. Sugar Ray wanted to lose the title of a pretty boy fighter so he stayed inside against Duran for 15 rounds.

tate vs weaver
Tate really screwed up in that one. He had won most the rounds up until the knockout and he was already penciled in to fight a come backing Ali for like 3.5 million dollars next had he beat Weaver. Instead, Larry Holmes got the Ali fight and a huge payday.

Agreed. Ali-Frazier I...had it all. Build-up. High stakes. Cultural/social impact. And the fight itself lived up to the billing.

The OP is probably my choice but I'm also partial to the Bowe vs Holyfield trilogy.

Jersey Joe Walcott vs. Rocky Marciano in the 1952 title fight when Jersey Joe was the champ. He was well ahead on all cards going into the 13th round------7-4-----8-4----7-5 on the 3 judge's scorecards.
Rocky maneuvers Joe toward the ropes and unleashes a thunderous right to Joes jaw and he sinks to his knees with his left arm hung up on the middle rope. Then his weight makes him face plant in the ring and the referee could have used a sundial to count him out.
Rocky wins by KO in 13 to take the Heavyweight Title.

I'd also throw in Tunney-Dempsey II just to see the long count with 100k people at Soldier Field, and Johnson-Jeffries because of the cultural impact and riots it caused.

A lot of good choices, but by a slim margin I'd take Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier I – “The Fight of the Century”.
Big boxing fan and it's the fight of the century and it's not even close for me. Can't tell you how many times I've watched that fight. Ali is the goat but man Frazier is so underrated.
Can't imagine what it's have been to be there, just incredible.

Could say I was in attendance for seeing the Cold War end.

I used to watch all of those matches on closed circuit television in New Orleans.
The greatest fight I have ever seen (and probably ever will see since I don’t follow boxing closely anymore) was Ali-Frazier III, The Thrilla in Manilla. I saw that on closed circuit in the Superdome.

You picked the one I would have chosen.
Second would be Tyson/Buster Douglass.
