That is impressive many went without tickets. How much does the stadium hold?

They have great fans. When McNeese played up there over a decade ago they almost beat them and Nebraska fans gave them a standing ovation as the left the field.

After the game they were coming up saying how impressed the Cowboys were

Very classic

I have been here along with my gf who is a faithful Husker fan and alumni. There are infinitely more Husker fans than Northwestern fans.

The weather here is perfect too. Should be a great day for football.

Aviva is a fairly nice grass pitch, that holds 51K+ for normal events, but tends to be modified to 48Kish configuration for some sports events. Public transportation access is really good; the DART (Rapid Transit Train) stops at the stadium, and Dublin bus had a couple of stops in eyesight of the stadium.

Been there a few times.

Nebraska, as a fanbase, deserves a winning program.

I can’t imagine the LSU fan base meltdown over playing a game in Ireland. They don’t like neutral site games 90 miles away in the dome. That said, I’d definitely go watch LSU play in Dublin.

Absolutely if LSU played overseas I would def go see them. The travel agency, Anthony Travel, put together some amazing packages. We toured Scotland and Ireland with our package. Went to the Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo. Took in some Whiskey Tours ( Jameson and Scotland Regional) as well as toured Guinness. Fantastic trip and end with a football game. Weather a helluva lot better than BR.

Northwestern seems to have embraced the spirit of the game by incorporating the tricolour flag of Ireland into their helmet. Disappointing to see Nebraska didn’t do something similar. Ugly Americans.

Free beer too as the concessions lost internet to the card machines. They do not take cash. Get as many beers as you want lol.
