Too many Americans, including Native Americans, get caught up in the debate over the tomahawk chop and miss the opportunity that comes in having a tribe in a close alliance with a major university.

Damn, they destroyed the Dims with that one

It’s not racial.

It was a slur.

The Seminole tribe leadership isn't Woke.

Thinking you deserve a multi decade monopoly in a business like sports gambling, purely based on your ethnicity, isn't woke???

So was the Sioux for North Dakota but the NCAA still fricked ND in the arse because ND wasn't as good of a brand as Florida State.

That's not true. The NCAA agreed that if UND got support from both Sioux tribes, they could keep the name. They got it from one, but never got it from the other.

IKR. Not some liberal being offended on their behalf telling us all what is or isn't offensive. Most don't mind the sports mascots whatsoever.

The Seminole tribe should require the team to have one Seminole on the team. Kind of like the way the CFL has to have a certain number of Canadian players on their teams.

The Seminoles realize that no one would have a clue what a Seminole is if it weren’t for Florida State.

Furthermore, the horseman is always gay or transgender. Part of a class action settlement requires it.

They actually ran a story about this very topic while the game was in a weather delay. The Seminole tribe of Florida endorses and wants them to use the Seminole name and likeness. They are proud of FSU and the relationship with the Seminole tribe.

That reminds me when they went after Central Michigan to change their name, and their starting QB (and maybe best player they ever had) was a Chippewa

I was about to post this. Glad I read the comments first. It was an interesting piece that liberal fricksticks need to watch.

I’m surprised if that matters to the perpetually enraged Wokesters
