How close have you come to seeing regular season history?

Yesterday was the closest to a Perfect game/no-hitter for me When he got through the first 3 innings I pointed it out to my son. Then we both just started looking at each other as he got through the 5th...6th...7th... I got a bit of an idea how intense it gets about halfway through the 7th. Just unbelievable tension in the air. 22nd batter...23rd batter.... And then you have an overpaid old fart kicking a routine grounder which revealed the Black Sox fans as a bunch of degenerate dipshits. I found out after getting home that Betts cost Yamamoto the MLB record for most at bats without allowing a baserunner.
We left home early in the morning unsure whether Ohtani would be playing. We barely got settled into our seats when he started the game with a 400+ foot liner into the RF seats. Our thought was whatever happened the rest of the game didn't matter since we saw what we wanted to. A great day with my son that built a memory for a lifetime.

I was at the game when Yu Darvish almost threw a perfect game against the Astros in 2013.

I was in attendance for Abbott’s no-hitter against the Indians in 1993, David Wells’s perfect game against the Twins in 1998, and Gretzky‘s last game.

I saw THE JUDGE go yard. History every time.

I was in the outfield at the Rangers old Arlington stadium when Nolan Ryan had a no hit game for seven innings.

I think Jordan passed Wilt on the all-time scoring list at my first Hornets game

I was blessed to see the Thrill’s home run off Ryan in the dome. Being a lifelong MSU/Astros fan, it was a surreal moment.

Growing up I was a Jose Canseco fan. I went to Dallas one summer with my dad on his business trip. He said, we can go to the Tuesday game or Wednesday game. Being the impatient teenager , I said Tuesday.
Canseco gets thrown out of game arguing strikes on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he hits two home runs and oh yeah Kenny Rogers pitches a perfect game.

I was watching from behind home plate when McGwire hit 62 on 9/8/98. The stadium was rocking.

July 2nd, 2016 I was in Toronto and decided to catch the game against the Indians.
Indians were on a historic winning streak, the weather was perfect 75 and sunny. They even had the roof open.
Toronto wins the game, but Rajai Davis hits for the cycle

Throwing in postseason, today is the 11th anniversary of my wife selflessly giving up our 13th anniversary so I could go see the Hawks skate the Cup. I didn't get home until the sun was up the next morning. There was a 50/50 chance of that happening unlike near perfection.
ETA: That and the UFC event at the WH had made this weekend just as unforgettable.

I don’t go to many football games in person.
Last Arkansas game I went to was Ole Miss in Fayetteville a few years ago. Had some friend from out of state travel in for the game.
I was ready to leave pretty quick, but they wanted to stay to see how many passing records Dart set.
