Plus on top of your plus, it's not just Rivers going off on the Rocket's front court. Reddick has 31 fricking points.

Well, the Rockets PGs had a combined age of almost 80...at some point that was going to bite them in the arse.

They're really missing Beverly on the defensive end. Not that he's an elite defender, but he's good and he would have Austin Rivers all fricked up mentally.

Yeah. And something about Beverley's intensity raises the level of the team, even when he isn't technically defending that well.

Paul's played 23 minutes this entire series, that's more of a hit than Beverly/DMo being out.

I don't disagree. Look at the context and what I responded to. Look at my comments earlier. I'm not making excuses as to why we are losing to the Clippers, I'm saying we would be a more complete team with those two. PF imo is such a weakness. Jones and Smith don't suck but they aren't complements to Howard because they don't stretch the floor AND both are shitty foul shooters. D-MO played well with Dwight and as the 2nd unit scorer at center. Beverly simply means the old guys play less.

Houston needs better guard play. The combo of Beverley and Lin would do wonders at preventing freaking rivers and reddick from going off. They also need to stop with the shitty offense they run. Too much reliance on one on ones. No movement or spacing. They also miss parsons. Smith is just awful off the bench. Lin coming off the bench and finishing games would also have been better than this shitshow

the clippers are a good team. No shame to losing to them but damn, this team really does look like arse. James needs to come out firing game 4. It is a must win.

I didn't mention the injuries because the Rockets would still lose this series with those guys. You mad? Too bad. Take this 30 point arse kicking and like it, dumbfrick.

People can blame the style or players for Houston's playoff struggles. I don't really buy it.

I think how Morey reshuffles the roster every year hurts them when the playoffs arrive. I think having a decent size group of guys that have been through the playoff battles together matters.

Trying to catch lightning in a bottle.

Not a terrible tack, but it can implode on you with a quickness.

The Mavs have been doing it like crazy lately to try to win Dirk another title and it has largely backfired.

There has to be a consistent method to the madness for it to work.

Too many teams get the "madness" part down pat, but not the "method."
