Kennesaw Mountain.

You would think that they would of got some talent from just down Due West at Harrison but obviously that hasn't happened.

The wifey went to Harrison.

No state titles, but went to the Dome against Cairo in ‘08. Lost a tough one 28-14.

Pretty consistent winning team though.

Went to Chalmette in the mid to late 60's and that was when they had some of their better teams, but still failed to get any state titles.

Their quarterback at the time was Norris Weese who followed Archie Manning at Ole Miss and he went on to play for "The Hawiians" in the World Football League for one season and then the Denver Broncos, mostly as their backup before retiring.

He passed away at age 43 from bone cancer.

22 state championships. Of course, a lot of them came after they started crowning two champions per class, but still.

No state championships thanks to former tigers tyron Johnson and rueben randle
And other schools like amite high and st.James
We were 3a in 2005 now we’re 5a
They’ve made the playoffs like 25 or more years in a row and usually win a playoff game or two

The school that began recruiting after I left
Dunn
Minor
Apple white
Helaire
And even moscona
They also did not admit kinchen and Bucky Richardson which could have changed their fortune in football

Many High School

Played on their first team to make it to the state finals. My teammate and high school best friend was/is current coach Jess Curtis.

Many won the 2A championship last year. They have two four-star recruits in the secondary. One is a junior and one is a sophomore

I played at Pineville. Don Shows was my coach. We got him promoted to NLU.

Sucked when I was a student there but has since played for (but never won) a few state championships.

St. Amant. We sucked at football. Only have 3 quarterfinal appearances, and no semifinal appearances. Had a 3 year span a few years ago where we were good and competitive, but I graduated before we got good.

Had some good baseball teams, and our softball team was usually the best team in the state up until the semifinals. We were undefeated going into the semis my senior year, and got knocked out by Sam Houston. Would have been a St Amant Dutchtown state championship had we beat Sam Houston.

Barbe High. Good teams, but not good enough to win a state title. Runner up a couple times.

early 00s for me, also some of our better teams...

we played 3A baseball three months before Katrina and now we're one of the biggest schools in the state. We're still ran like that small town for better and for worse.

Every 7-10 years they’ll go on a run and make it deep into the playoffs. They’re a roller coaster program.

After last year they are on everyone's radar. They're not going to sneak up on anyone.

Also I believe one of Woodlawn's QBs (Farris) played college ball at Colorado State and signed with the Bengals.

My school (Moon) won WPIAL3A in 98 but lost to Allentown Central Catholic in the state championship.
