Isn’t “put him to sleep” typically intended for fair fights or when a a bully gets knock tf out after picking on a smaller/innocent person?

You're totally missing the point. I wasn't trying to be a badass. I wasn't looking for an altercation. The point is, if you're talking shite to the wrong person, especially in hostile territory such as that, you're taking a big risk.

That was actually a pretty heartwarming response from the majority of Rangers fans. Way better than what you'd see at an NFL or NBA game
