Eddie Kennison’s 100 yard punt return in 1994.
No one in the stands could believe he even fielded the kick and watched in anguish as he got pushed a couple of yards into the end zone. But that all turned to elation as Eddie ran the length of the field to score.

My parents had season tickets and this was the first game my father went to without her. It was the first time in over a year I saw him smile and laugh. He’s still with us today.

Maybe not the greatest play but one that I will always remember was Damon Duval’s field goal to beat Florida in 01 I think. We had no business hanging with them in that game and the wind was howling.

I was in Lexington for the Bluegrass Miracle. Incredible to see live w/ their fans racing the field.

I may be misremembering, but didn't Prothro later (was it this game?) have a career ending injury in garbage time? I feel like everyone was angry at the coach for leaving him in.

His injury happened later that same season (2005) against Florida. Alabama was up big late in the game and Mike Shula still had Prothro in and was still throwing deep. They went deep to Prothro in the endzone and he went up for the ball, got hit early by the Florida DB, and came down awkwardly causing his left leg to snap. Everyone was mad at Shula because there was no reason for Prothro to be in, as Alabama was up 31-3.

I've been at both ends of the spectrum...

Honorable mention. Not a play, but awesome.

Mike Goodson 65 yard run vs. Baylor

i've been to plenty of games, but not a ton of exciting ones. nothing that stood out to me. this wasn't flashy or anything but about 6 Baylor guys had the angle on him and he cruised down the sideline.

in person he was smoking fast.

another in the failed line of A&M QBs (outside of Christine Michael)

It’s a college play but this was unreal. Joe Adams vs Tennessee.

Probably bluegrass miracle. Still haunted by that.

I was at the UT/Florida game a couple of years ago that ended with the hail mary.

Chris Webber time out in Championship final versus UNC.

Michael Jordan jumper to win it as a freshman.

Willie Gault returning the second half kick off for a touchdown in Tiger Stadium. I've never seen anyone run that fast in pads.

Evan Gattis hits a moonshot

Nick Chubb 92 yard TD run

Kyrie Irving takes over vs Celtics in 2017 ECF G4

Kent State amazing and one dunk to beat Western Michigan

The last one on this list is a play that almost no one on this board has seen, but it was incredible.

The best game I've ever been to was 2007 Illinois/Ohio State but there was no particular play from that game that stood out.
