I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn. Looked like it wasn't moving until he was on the ground.
Also don't understand all the ACC protecting Miami talk. ACC champ gets an auto bid right? Just protecting them for seeding?

You get a former official reviewing the call for the broadcast and clearly states it has to be call a td. Then, you get the acc officials stepping in the keep their conference relevant

I know the rule is indisputable video evidence to overturn, but when the refs clearly didn’t know what to call on the field, I’m not sure that should fully apply.
They took forever to call TD on the field. I honestly still don’t know if it was a TD or not. Just no great camera angle on it.

Negative. None of us could tell wtf was going on looking at replay. They called it a catch and there's no way you can overturn that based on what you saw in the replay video.
