Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Haas needs that money but even that might not be enough to save Mazepin.

And I wasn’t even aware of his on-track issues, which, knowing them now, makes me incredulous that Haas gave himself chance in the first place. Especially when other qualified drivers are available.

There are multiple better drivers with a great work ethic and more common sense than the low level frat douche that Mazepin is...

Its always been about money, especially with Mick's career in their hands

I tried to find the video of him swinging at his opponent after the race, but it might have been scrubbed from the internet.

I saw a clip of him changing his like twice around the start/finish line and forcing the trailing car off the course. Forget who the other driver was. I think Ricciardo even commented on it?

I know in US sports pay2play isn't exactly a common thing. I'm sure there are examples where it happens, motorsports being the most likey, but in Europe it seems like this is more common including spots in football clubs.

Maybe I am reading it wrong, or the comments I have read just overblow the problem.

He punched Ilot in the face twice and gave him a black eye and swollen jaw because of an incident in FP2 where he was on a run with new tires and Callum got in his way

Lewis is in to race this weekend, I'd never hoped so hard for a postive covid test

Lewis back. George back to Williams. Valterri stays in his seat.

That can't make the conspiracy people happy.

I'm bummed not to see Russell back in the Merc this weekend, but I'm also glad Hamilton is well. George did what he needed to do last weekend. He'll be back on that team.

Cool video of Alonso taking his 2005 championship winning Renault for a spin around Yas Marina:

As a young up and coming driver I am glad to see he got that pesky championship out of the way.

Lewis already complaining that his car “doesn’t feel the same way that he left it.” For such a talent, he can be so insufferable. Like dude, you’re gonna win the fricking race. Just drive the damn car

Feel so bad for Russell...

And back to Hamilton in the most dominating car making things boring... was hilarious reading 99% negative comments on F1s account when they announced he would be racing.

He already has.

Yeah, first non-Mercedes pole of the season. Pretty much says it all.

Stroll was on pole in a rain the rain in Turkey a few races back, Max was pretty pissed when Lance beat him there for pole.

Good showing by Norris. I could see it being Max/Ham/Nor/Bot into turn one.

They said "Mercedes-powered," so I guess that means the engines.

Slower times this year. Max finishing p1 is surprising. He keeps it interesting
