People started hating Floyd bc he ducked the best and when he finally did fight then he was boring and played defense the whole time.

This. Mayweather avoiding Pacquiao until they were both practically washed up was stupid. Those 2 fighting in their prime could have saved boxing.

he real “conversation” that needs to be had is, yes, sometimes white people will see black people differently and vice versa as well, and it isn’t from some evil level

This is getting downvoted to Hell and back but I kinda agree with him. There is some ability to identify with certain athletes and I think he picked a good analogy with John Daly. We’ve all gotten drunk on a golf course but we haven’t been able to make a career out of it. Until we quit being unable to even discuss race, we can’t move past it.

Black people do certain things more than white people. White people do certain things more than black people. Southerners are different than northerners. Californians suck politically.

Some things just ARE.

Not many people will disagree with that.

It’s the silly first post that he made.

Correct.

I just meant neither of them are simply what he pegged them as and the way he used them in his argument was disingenuous.

But Gronk to a lesser extent.

Is he beloved though? People might have been pulling for him to beat his addictions but he is usually the butt of the jokes.

This is something that I've never understood. So a "bum" took you 10 rounds. Does he not see that? Maybe Floyd should cross over and fight Poirier to prove a point.

Took him 10 rounds???... if you watch any boxing it’s obvious Floyd allowed it to go 10 rounds... McGregor ain’t take it nowhere...

Gronk was partying with underage girls in Aruba and the media shrugged.

I think tribalism and racism have become intertwined. There was an article way back before this country lost its mind that gave a great example. A white person buying a Scalabrini Celtics jersey bc he looks like him isn’t an attack on black people BUT refusing to buy a jersey bc a player is black would be.

Well Pride says he’s polarizing because ~7 people on the MSB hate him and the amount of coverage he gets during tournaments.

So some(pretty much every golf fan in America and everywhere else in the world) people loving him doesn’t count.

I’d rather pay twice to watch a McGregor fight than pay once to watch another of Mayweathers. That’s the most boring shite ever.

Mayweather then turned his attention back to McGregor as he mocked the suggestion that the Irishman could potentially face his former rival Manny Pacquiao inside the boxing ring later this year.

It's always a shame to see people cry about problems they helped create.
