First, the qb playing last night wouldn’t be the one playing in playoffs.
Second, they lost their qb three weeks ago, why did they only drop in polls this week?

Do you think for one second if Alabama was 13-0 and lost their starting quarterback and Florida State was 12 and one, that Alabama would get left out and Florida State would get in? I bet not.

The decision to leave FSU out proves that our current system is inferior to even the pre BCS poll system. At least in that system you were rewarded for achievement instead of being some projected television value which has nothing to do with sport or competition.

They won against a decent Louiville with that 3rd String QB - and would have the back up by the semi.
Bama got HOUSED by Texas in Tuscaloosa.
It beat LSU by knocking its QB out of the game.
It barely beat a shite Auburn team JUST TWO WEEKS AGO.
It beat UGA by 3 points.
Every marker got called in to put Bama in there.

Dropping them last week after losing travis would have garnered outrage at lack of sympathy for an injured player. They were hoping fsu would lose or Georgia would win and then they would not have been exposed.

It is absolutely insane for anyone to just assume Bama is better when they should have lost a week ago to a horrible Auburn team. Bama struggled to beat an absolutely trash Arkansas team.
There are no powerhouses this year. Everybody had flaws. Everybody is beatable. This Bama team did not deserve to get in over an undefeated conference champ who actually won without their qbs. That's hella impressive. Way more impressive.

I agree with you. It’s about getting the 4 best teams in. UGA has a better argument than Florida St imo.
