Is there a way to watch the ou tenn game on just YouTube? It shows some, but it’s not really the game.

If you have YTTV, should be easy to figure out

My prediction is that they will come to an agreement around day 17-20. YoutubeTV makes up for about 15% of ESPN's viewership. From an ad revenue perspective that's too much to throw away for very long.

This is all a play by Disney to shift some of that 15% from YTTV to an ESPN Unlimited / Hulu / Fubu sub. After about the 2 week mark everyone who is desperate enough for live sports to make that conversion will have and there will be diminishing returns. That's when Disney will agree.

It's anticompetitive AF.

Yeah, I’m waiting out. If the CFB playoffs get here with no agreement then I’ll probably switch, but YTTV’s great interface plus the ability to have your sub in different households is unmatched.

youtube has said they are going to stick it up disneys arse

supposedly, disney is losing 8mil a day from the stoppage on youtube.

dish, direct, cable networks should of done this decade+ ago, but instead would let individual companies go after espn, then try and steal their customers like weasels,

I’ll stop watching football before I subscribe to espn unlimited. You absolutely cannot reward this type of behavior from Disney

Agree 100%. It sucks because I love watching SEC football as much as anything else but it’s not worth being a slave to Mickey Mouse. Nothing is. frick em.

I read $5 mil a day, which is great and all but how many subscribers is YTTV hemorrhaging a day and how much of that is the mouse making back by people giving in and paying them for Hulu, fubo, or espn? They own them all!!!!

Can you share a ESPN direct account? I have my parents sharing my YTTV account, looks like I'm going to break down and get an alternative route for watching CFB this weekend after skipping last week.

My brother and I were able to this past weekend but admittedly we didn’t look into anything about it before signing up.

No idea on screen limits but the geo location nonsense didn’t seem to be an issue

Same

If i feel I need ESPN shite in the meantime, I’ll do a 5 day free trial on DirecTV stream. Then a free trial on Fubo, Hulu etc each weekend as needed

i have yttv and also had espn select which i was paying $12.99 a month for. i just figured i would be able to login and watch whatever was on epsn, espn2, abc, etc. i was wrong. i could only watch games on espn+ which was basically nothing that i would want to watch. i upgraded to espn unlimited for $29.99 and have full access to everything. a cable provider isnt necessary if you have unlimited.

Why? The revenue sharing alone has made it worth it for the SEC.
