Carrington’s Dad is a former NFL player and now a pastor. Guarantee he’s beyond disappointed that he sent his daughter to a Christian high school school, then Stanford, and now seeing her as a lesbian across social media.
He’s definitely had the “You was raised better than this” talk with her.

the issue with this league is all of the white and black leaders in the League are spineless and apologetic for and terrified of the black players
coaches and league officials alike
so you have some of the least reasonable and thoughtful people in society with the biggest media outlets hanging around them looking for soundbites in the slowest time of the year
add in social media access and it is a june and july media shitshow
Then football and soccer starts
Then baseball starts winding down
Then nobody pays any attention to the WNBA anymore
society made these women, remember the league had some moments but for the most part it was a third tier league. Then the NBA and MSM started pushing identity politics and inclusion and the players started screaming about their victim status and demands for equity with male players pay.
the first thing they need to do is fire Kathy Engelbert and hire a no nonsense Commissioner

This is what the WNBA has become. Sensationalized race baiting from both sides and drawing in both sides of the issue to get clicks and publicity. It's working for that purpose. I don't think it's a sustainable model for long term health of the product, but it's 10 times more pub than they have ever gotten so they are going to ride it.
