Sitting players when your seed isn't locked in is just asking for some bad juju in football.

Rams found that out tonight

Actually it made no difference since the Saints lost to TB.

he's probably talking about them not playing as sharply as they might have been. Probably doesn't matter; Atlanta is more playoff experienced and it showed. Rams will be back with a little more experience next year.

No. Their defense is middle of the pack. Their only chance was to make this game a shootout or get lucky and force a few turnovers.

Gurley looked slow tonight. Atl linebackers were definitely up to task of guarding him out of the backfield though.

Jones and Campbell are two of the fastest linebackers in football and Neal was hitting.

You mean like just last year? Let's not pretend they have a ton of experience. This year is just the second playoff appearance in seven years.

They weren't frauds. They were a talented team that had a great season. They just were a better coached/executing team that played the more talented team that didn't shoot themselves in the foot for once.

Falcons were always the more gifted team...they're just stupid.

I thought it was two good teams. Falcons are finally hitting their stride and are playing much better now than they did early on.

As far as the game the Rams made too many mistakes early on and the Falcons capatalized. Rams never recovered.

I don't think resting the starters played a part in the game. Falcons were just the better team today.

Definitely. Take away his fumbles and its a totally different ballgame.

For the Falcons? The 2011-2017 season is seven years. The Falcons have made 4 appearances during that time, and last night was their 7th playoff game during the last seven years.

They were either the 3rd or the 4th seed...I don't think that sitting players hurt them that much.

Atlanta was just the better team last night. The defense looked really good, and offense was good enough to get it done. Special Teams really hurt the Rams, and I doubt half of those guys sat last week. They gave Atlanta great field position that resulted in 10 points.
