Your post is due due.

His longevity is exceptional and he’s a lock HOF but there’s more than 5 RBs I’d rather have for one game or playoff run. Dude has 1800 career receiving yards.

Name ‘em
He’s been a starter for 7.5 seasons. Giving him the *ehh, but I guess he has longevity* award is a little disingenuous.
He’s not dynamic in the passing game, but I’d argue his style offers just as much value with the way he can be used and with how wearing down defenses factors into the game.

For big power backs he's def. my #1.
For smaller, elusive backs I'll go Barry Sanders.
Either way, you're all set.

I really like the way Henry runs but “he’s the best ever”? WTF? Did you just start watching football? Jim Brown says hello.

Understand also, Im a big Henry fan he reminds me of an Earl Campbell type. But I can tell you fricking OJ (I know!) was a damn monster and he had to run against some of the best defenses ever back then. And he wasn’t the best ever.

Henry will end up with better career numbers, but I think adrian Peterson is better than him.

47 downvotes so far.
At least 45 of those are from LSU fans.

How many people on this board are old enough to have seen him play? Jim Brown is a default answer for a lot of people but they need to remember that he was playing in the NFL at a time when a lot of those guys needed a second job in the offseason just to make ends meet.

Right? Who tf underrates Henry?

If Henry is underrated, it’s because of the teams he played on.
He played in the Saban era at Bama. Lots of great teams, players, Heisman winners, national titles, etc. If he had won a more isolated Heisman and national title somewhere like Texas or Notre Dame in 2015, his college legacy would probably have more pop. Being 6’10” stands out a little more at the local Walmart than an NBA locker room.
In the NFL, he’s played for low profile teams with little historical significance and hasn’t been a part of meaningful success. If he played for the Cowboys or won a Super Bowl or two, that would help his visibility a lot.
