Not saying Coach Prime is wrong, just an example.

Well those were the rumors.

Yep. And when people post rumors that are proven false, the receipts come out. Don’t blame someone else.

Good for Deion, happy to see he overcame his health situation and can get back to coaching.

Admitting ignorance here, but other than his toe amputation, what signs?

He kept coaching after that so it’s reasonable to have wondered if this was going to be like Urban Meyer’s conveniently-timed heart palpitations.

Also, praying good health for Prime.

I don’t love everything about Coach Prime, and I certainly thought he would fail (and was very wrong), but I simply do not understand the irrational hatred some have for him. I guess because he is the coaching representative of the new NIL/portal era? He didn’t come up with the system

He keeps things interesting and is doing it at a long dormant program that would otherwise be an afterthought. I don’t get the hate

Pretty sure Boeheim and Valvano openly discussed cancer, granted Valvano was in sports media at that time.

lol he did a shitload of interviews about his cancer while at Auburn.

Also, do you not remember when he coached a game from his hospital bed when he was at Liberty?

Amazing but expected.

The same idiots are now angry that people are pointing out they "why".

You cannot compare the pre transfer portal to current times

Is Sanders the only coach that is allowed to use the portal?

The rules are different but everyone is playing the same game.

Irrational means without a rational reason. There's plenty of reasons to not like Deion.
For example, he said multiple times he was going to control where Shedeur played in the pros, then got upset when he dropped in the draft.

Obviously glad he's cured, but we don't need to have revisionist history.

that wasn't set specifically to announce he had cancer. Auburn did a press release then reporters asked him about it during one of the post-spring practice press conferences

Regardless, I don't have a problem with Deion having a press conference fwiw. There have been rumors floating around about his health for awhile, so it was pretty warranted to clear the air about his health

Of course not. I was responding to a post that wanted to compare early records for Saban at MSU and Kelly at Bowling Green. It wasn't an accurate comparison when you previously spent at least 2 years turning a roster over compared to now.
