So something he could have released with a statement
That would be pretty fricking wild to just do a release saying your head coach had cancer

It’s going to be in every single interview. You have to do a press conference

Yes, and then when CU and Deion get flooded with media requests to find out more, he would need to do a presser.

I refuse to believe a fully formed adult brain can’t comprehend why a press conference was needed here

The blind hatred for all things Deion is nuts. Any coach who steps away and is revealed to have been battling cancer will be a major deal.

Prime has his quirks, but deep down I really think he is a good well-meaning dude. You can't fake the passion he showed, begging people to get checked out.

It’s been a bad weekend for that crowd with the Brickyard 400 race results …

I think one of the biggest tells Deion truly treats coaching as a real passion is the respect Saban has for him

After taking over a 1-11 team? Seams pretty good. Saban was 12-11 his first two years at Michigan State. BK was 10-12 his first two seasons at Bowling Green.

And they would be seen as mediocre bad they not proven otherwise lol

How many coaches improve on their predecessor’s win total by 8 games in 2 years, and are still considered a “bad coach”

want an example of a current head football coach at a major university getting cancer while coaching and there is no press conference

Can you link us to all the press conferences in these cases?

This has yet to be determined. So you still might be right.
