At what point do we worry that Greinke has not reported to camp?

It's not weird that Grienke is being weird.

Martez is doing it his way. I can't be upset with that.

Frankie Tuesday got popped using a fricking horse steroid
It's also what David Paulino got suspended for a few years back.

Wouldn't shock me if they gave him a pass until the media stops obsessing over the cheating scandal. We already know hes not good with the media, so this is almost a nightmare scenario.

I used fubo also. I really enjoyed it. It’s a bit expensive for not having ESPN and HBO but it was a high quality product

Nick markakis from the braves is the latest player to join the mob campaign against the Astros. Thinks every Astro should get a “beating”. Thinks we’ve ruined guys’ careers. I’m getting a little tired of hearing that last complaint. I could see teams in our division making a case for careers being affected to some degree due to the significant number of times they faced the Astros each year but there are 28 other “non cheating” teams to prove themselves against throughout the year. And let’s not pretend we dominated every pitcher because “we knew what was coming”. I remember plenty of eggs our offense laid over the last three years at home and on the road.
I’m beginning to think this whole issue might be for the best. Baseball players were getting too chummy with each other before and during the game imo. Players like trout and Bryant and Harper and Markakis have lost respect for our guys. Good! Back to old school baseball. Hard slides, pitcher retaliations, bring it on. And the kicker is not one of these sanctimonious bastards would have had the nutsacks to say a damn word to any of our players had they been on the roster and in the dugout. We had 2 of the most morally grounded baseball guys in mccann and Verlander and they didn’t say a thing to anyone outside the dugout.

I find it funny how many anti-astros threads there are on the MSB. Do I find it funny the Astros cheated? Not at all.
But all of these pearl-clutching threads by all of these "Baseball Fans"... most of the people in those threads are the same people who regularly post, "Baseball sucks" and "MLB is dying" threads.
As for the cheating itself, I really don't care how many other teams were, are, or will do it. Astros got caught and it pisses me off the guys in the club house lowered their integrity.
But I always go back to the same thing I'm telling my 10 year old about this... Baseball is a business. The players are employees. And we watch it for entertainment. Right now, business is good. The players are doing their jobs. And soon enough, we'll be back to getting entertained. Doesn't mean we condone, or want them to cheat again. It just means they are human and made mistakes. And we are human and will forgive them.
Everyone else with a different take are the ones with the deeper personal issues.

Let me remind you none of this happens if we don't have a pussy as Manager. If hinch had balls enough to stand up to Beltran and Cora, this gets nipped in the bud pretty quickly. He is the main person to blame.

I'm not completely disagreeing with you. Hinch definitely deserves a great deal of blame.
But I think we all knew when he was hired that he was there to be a Yes man to Luhnow. He was there to toe the company line -- and look good doing it.
To put it on one man is wrong. The entire club-house is to blame. Period. I know you hate Hinch, but he was powerless -- that is clear. To expect different results with a different manager is not valid. If he'd have balls, he wouldn't have been hired.
The person to blame is the person(s) who thought, "Yeah, let's bang the frick out of this trash can everytime it's an off-speed pitch. NO ONE will figure out what we're doing."

You guys see Cowherds segment?
I can't listen to his whiny voice more than 30 seconds at a time.
I can only imagine his take is, "The should all be banned for life and donate 100% of every dollar earned playing baseball to charity."
ETA: Holy shite... there are 8 ANTI-Astros threads on the first page of the MSB. I never realized how many aching-vagina Cardinals fans are on this board.

Let's have a DAT get together where we throw baseballs at each other to punish us for our fandom. Maybe we can all run naked on the driving range at Top Golf. That'll learn us.

Two words explain this phenomenon.
Yankees and Dodgers.
They are the market, and they need more than the obvious to explain over a decade of futility for one, and over two decades for the other
Any person in their right mind can look at the numbers and quickly see the Astros system didn't help them, and was impossible to use in the playoffs due to crowd noise.
But what they are doing is therapeutic, I suppose.
And I will repeat for my sake that if I felt that this system was a difference maker in the outcome of even one critical AB in the playoffs, I would be extremely disappointed, likely enough to be totally indifferent to the charade taking place now.
