I would have liked an OF too for sure

JV is a bigger rotation upgrade than I was expecting though. I figured we would be shopping in the Michael Lorenzen type bin

Get Yainer Diaz a got damn outfield glove and float that dude around.

He's got to play in 90% of the games through end of season. We all want to get rid of Moldy, but it's just not gonna happen at this point unfortunately.

Padres, Angels, and Cubs being buyers mystifies me.

The expanded playoffs leads to expanded delusions.

The lesson learned is don't be retarded and go a whole off-season without a GM. You need to be proactive and not stupid during that time.

Just don't let Cousins pitch on Sunday or Monday nights.

Gilbert and Clifford are just prospects, we have all seen plenty even highly ranked guys bust.

Astros were loaded with OF prospects. Melton might be the best of the bunch when it's all said & done. And Barber & Loperfido seem to be a little underrated by prospect rankings. Any of those three or possibly all three could be ready for callup at some point next season.

That's not even including the rotation of OFs already on the main squad.

Stros might have a log jam of OFs within a year. Wouldn't be surprised if they move a couple more in the off-season or next year's deadline.

Crane says we were interested in a Padres starter and reliever that never came available. Snell and Hader no doubt nut we wouldn't have won that bidding war.

Teoscar + Aoki for Liriano's 16.2 innings hurt. Even though Liriano did get us from Peacock to Devo in game 6.

I think we partly let go of Teoscar b/c he ran over Correa one time. LOL

A lot of people also said mathews projects in CF best. I didn’t like the idea of getting yet another CF with such little MIF depth in the system, but it makes more sense now.

Melton seems to be dealing with some bad luck and kenedy Corona was outperforming Gilbert at the same age on the same team. Im more concerned with losing Clifford. He was performing well at a young age. I think he ends up being really good.
