I don't think it's worth the risk, not with other equal or better SPs available.

It’s crazy how a few here are trying to convince that Bauer is good friends with everyone in Houston just to justify getting another SP.

Bauer is a cancer. He’s the LAST person I want to see in the Astros clubhouse. Other than maybe Carlos Gomez.

Bumgarner or Bauer?

Would Bauer be able to heave one over Tal's hill?

Sources: #Indians, #Astros have had recent communication about possible Trevor Bauer trade. The extent of progress in talks is unclear. Houston is pursuing multiple starting pitchers, with hopes of landing one. @MLB @MLBNetwork

Don’t think there is any apprehension in the front office

That should surprise no one. Luhnow had no issue bringing in Osuna and reportedly had to be talked out of drafting Oregon State's Luke Heimlich.

He isn't a cancer but he isn't best friends either. In fact I promise you not everyone in the locker room likes each other.

I'd bet we could do that if I just look at deadline deals over the last 5 years. If I wasn't on my phone I would

Wait, really?

Ground control must've had outstanding numbers with him.

So, who would have the balls in the Astros war room to cause Luhnow to choke on Heimlich?

I’m pretty sure we would’ve just gotten a few weeks of bad press with Heimlich and then been good to go.

I'm amazed that no one took a shot on him. People love a good redemption story.
