He is a talented a-hole that is for sure, I'd hope he can handle the media but he has dealt with the media for awhile with everything. I think the guy personally focuses too much on analytics sometimes, instead of feel. If he could make them coexist he could be better.

Personally, I think you get him then Cole and Bregman are both adults and vets at this point. If they believe he will help they will put aside previous hard feelings

Zero. Cole is gone regardless of who they sign or don't sign, trade for don't trade for. They aren't gonna have 70 million per year tied up in 2 SP.

I think it's also nice to have multiple guys on the team that have experience with him.
Despite his history he seems to have a good relationship with Brantley, FWIW.

I think having guys like Verlander, Altuve, Springer, Brantley etc helps because they will just tell him to STFU and pitch. The culture is so strong with the team right now they could get away with it probably

when did he say that, because I seem to remember a video fo them together during the offseason...I think the bants is all for show, Bauer is a hot-head, but honestly I don't think Bregman dislikes him. Cole on the other hand, I'm not sure.

I dont think that's it at all. Bauer is someone of superior intellect, in a sport that's not populated with Rhodes Scholars. I can understand that frustration of walking to a different drummer, while being ostracized by mental lightweights of the Frat Boy pack that dominates professional sports.
