Real question, do you think more unarmed minorites are killed by police, or more police by minorities annually?

I think cops are terrible about resorting to beating and shooting people when they don't need to. I think they frick with poor people far more often b/c they know they have no recourse. Since minorities are more likely to be poor police frick with them more than anyone else.

You guys have already forgotten Amber Guyger killing Botham Jean? Really? It was kind of a big deal. I'm not going to go through all the various instances of police abuse here in DFW since I've lived here but you should surely be able to remember her and the fact that it was blatant the police tried their damnedest to cover it up for her.

No, it absolutely has. The people fighting for “equality” have espoused some of the most vile, racist rhetoric I’ve heard in my entire life (and I live in freaking Alabama) and to many mainstream schools of thought, daring to question this rhetoric in any form is a type of racism in practice.

I'm cool with the anger about Breonna Taylor, mainly b/c no knock warrants are a travesty in general. And there have Been several needless deaths as a result. The couple in Houston killed by the crooked narcotics officers are another example. The Tamir Rice shooting may have been the biggest example of police incompetence ever.

That said, most of the examples blm points to are shite. Mike Brown, Alton Sterling, Jacob Blake, etc... No pity for them.

Eric Garner is borderline, imo.

So you dance around my question because you know the answer doesn't fit your narrative?

Do you think cops attempt non-lethal and commands prior to engaging with suspects?

Do you think crime rates are higher in areas that have higher or lower income?

Do the values in most cases of these areas involve education or reputation?

You are trying to make abstract arguments without looking at the root cause. There does need to be police reform and more training, I am 100% in that boat, but NOTHING will change if communities do not take their streets back.

Wasn't she appropriately punished? And that wasn't even in the line of duty. Not quite the same.

Not all of its meaning, but most. What its been morphed to by academia and the left is a far cry from its real and true meaning.

The whole BLM support thing feels like the strength game at a carnival. Except they keep changing how high it has to go for them to be satisfied in the response. Still, supporting the organization is different from feeling that their lives do matter. I don't think anyone is disputing that, and that's where they seem to be stuck. You can agree with the words without agreeing with the group, yet it's still not good enough.

So clueless

It's not because they support the rights of black people. It's because they blindly support BLM.

Had the Leagues and Teams come forward and donate money for inner city infrastructure, education, etc no one gives a shite but the hardcore conservatives(you can find them easily on Political board, they use catchy/clever rasis names for blacks).

My wife did her thesis on how Tests like SAT/ACT are racist to the Black community. Yes, she's a bleeding heart liberal, except when the inner city peeps were trying to steal her car from our drive way. And i told her tests aren't racist, and why, she claimed they aren't given a chance to be prepared.

I said, then Athletes, Businessmen who are black and have money should be funneling money back to inner city to get better teachers, teach family structure, etc. Instead it's White people donating a shite load of time into the inner cities.

And i told her what do all of these cities have in common? Liberal run places that have done nothing to try and improve these communities, mainly because they have their vote regardless. Doesn't take a candidate with an (R) for change, one with an (I) can do wonders with out the need to pander to the party. Demand the candidates do something to help their people and community.

When one has lived the way their gradnparents/parents lived, they will fall in line. It takes a generation of breaking the chains to move on and improve the community.

Honestly, will all of the people out of work, why aren't they in their communities helping others fix their homes up, cutting grass, fixing fences, fixing bad windows, etc?? It start with change, be it.

You people have seen nothing yet. Wait until the NFL season starts. AD, LeBron and the NBA players can keep threatening the owners all they want. The fans are going to take action and boycott all of your this stuff. Just 25% drop in TV and merchandise would crush these ingrates and they may see 50% + of fans gone really soon.

We had Astros season tickets for about 9 years. Haven't had them in 5 years but they call me several times a year trying to get us back.

Same for Rockets. We gave up our club level season tickets about 3 years ago. They call a few times a year trying to get me to do them again.

I CANNOT WAIT for the Astros and Rockets to call me next time.

Major sports(NFL,NBA,MLB,NHL,MLS)ownership is at a crossroads now. I think at least half of the current owners of all these franchises are not down with this "Woke BLM" movement & know this is completely mainstream media & social media driven propaganda meant to politically divide us as Americans for a political cause(Example- George Soros, twitter, BLM being a Marxist money laundering scheme for the DNC, etc).

Current Owners & players who know this entire narrative is BS are basically being held hostage(See-Drew Brees, Ryan Tannehill) & cannot truly speak their mind without being physically or verbally attacked & risk losing everything they have worked for. If I am a wealthy person who could potentially have the means to purchase a franchise I am thinking twice about getting into a mess like this.

I don't think these leagues & these current "woke" players realize the dam that is about to break when it comes to ratings & fans supporting & giving money to these franchises. They reap what they sow & they have no idea how bad it is about to get & how it is going to affect them.
