Dabo, on the transfer portal: "It's chaos right now. Tampering galore. Adults manipulating young men. Education is like the last thing now." Calls for the return of one-year sit for transfers, and get that year back upon graduation. "Keep the focus on graduation/education."

I mean he’s right. College football is now just a revolving door where teams will look vastly different year over year

Now is that a good thing or bad thing? Idk, but it does require a completely different skill set from head coaches and their staffs

The early signing period and when schools need to hire new coaches really just adds to all of the chaos

Most players don't have a shot at the NFL

So for most players it should be about education

Plenty of kids that are highly rated recruits care about their education.

Should be yes. But many of these guys get the easiest degrees and don’t care one bit about school. That being said, any free degree is better compared to no degree

There has always been tampering and adults manipulating young men. He just doesn’t have as big of an advantage to be the adult manipulating the young men as he used to, so he’s not happy.

Yall actually need to read up on Dabo about this

He practices what he preaches. He has yet to take a single player in the transfer portal. He truly thinks it’s ruining the game and won’t be a part of it

Completely agree...making this shite "legal" is going to have dire consequences to the health of the overall sport. Its absolutely going to drive away fans...

I can't say he isn't wrong.

But those are the rules now. Nick learned to adjust.
