I can see that. I just haven't heard much talk from people about them being equal to programs like JC and Evangel.

Evangel is not elite any longer. I would say Rummel is superior now.

We'll see I guess. But I give the slight edge to Evangel

3 years removed from a title game win over Curtis isn't elite. Wow

Yeh alot of people are severely under estimating Evangel. They are number 2 as of right now in D1

I mean nationally. Still a very good program, but they have been hammered by out of state opponents.

Evangel will be very good this year. Don't sleep on them. They struggled this year but got a lot of experience.

4 seasons ago. Are any of those kids still on the team even?

What exactly makes them elite? The last time i saw them play in 2012 they looked nothing like the monsters they put out back in 5A. They were TINY, with hardly any D-1 level players.

They were pretty damn good in 2012. And they had size that year. They beat a very big U-high team

Without West Monroe, Acadiana, Barbe, and the River Parishes it's still not a "true" champion.

If they want to compete in the Divison I select Playoffs couldn't they?

This whole thing is a pathetic colossal joke.

Until they get rid of the "split", the Catholic schools should just drop out of the LHSAA alltogether and have their own championship.

It's good that Curtis is finally playing up, but they still get to play 3a during the season and dont have to go through the Catholic League gauntlet.

However with all this controversy, state championships are less meaningful. At least a poll or computer system compares every team against each other to find the best

Lmao..... I'm sure they'd rather play in the Catholic League than play St Thomas Aquanos (FL), Bergen Cath.(NJ), Plant High (FL), Longview(TX), Hoover (AL) or any of those other power schools they play every year.
