Seems likely? lol. Look at the facts.

just don’t think she’d be good for the team given her play style and hatred of her by peers.
You’re right. I can 100% see the other players not give a shite about winning out of spite if she were on the team. That’s sad.

Who knew that the WNBA was such a bastion of racism?

Dozens of people are upset by this

Let's look at the guards who are on the Team USA roster, and the numbers they are putting up this year.
Kahlea Copper-23.5/4.6/2 on 44/40/79 splits
Chelsea Gray-She has been injured this year. But last season she put up 15/4/7 on 49/42/90 splits
Sabrina Ionescu-17.8/4.8/5.3 on 42/33/90
Jewell Lloyd-19.8/6.5/3.7 on 34/32/92
Kelsey Plum- 18.8/1.6/4.9 on 37/35/84
Diana Taurasai-16.3/4.5/1.1 on 37/36/84
Jackie Young-18.6/5.4/7 on 40/32/70
Comparatively- Caitlin is putting up 16.8/5.3/6.3 on 37/33/89 splits.
Based on the numbers, the only ones Caitlin has an argument against are Lloyd, Plum, and Taurasai. Among these 3, Lloyd and Plum are averaging 2.1 and 2.5 TO per game. Taurasai is averaging 1.4 TO per game. Comparatively Caitlin is averaging a whopping 5.6 TO per game.
Jewell Lloyd is on a 7-3 team currently, and she was on the 2020 Gold team USA.
Plum is apart of the Aces Big 3 that won the last 2 WNBA titles.
As for Taurasai, Phoenix is only 5-6. But it's obvious she is on here because of her status as a WNBA legend. She has won 5 gold medals for the Olympics, and 3 other Golds for FIBA world championships.
As for Caitlin, the Fever are struggling right now at 3-9.
This isn't to say Caitlin is a scrub. Of course not, absolutely nobody is arguing that. But as of now, she doesn't have a 100% clear concise argument over any of the players I just listed. Once you combine the fact that she was unable to participate in the Olympic pre-trials that were held earlier this year due to her playing in the NCAA tourney, it makes sense that she wasn't included in the 12. Caitlin was still included in the large Team USA pool as an alternate. If Chelsea Gray is unable to return from injury by that time, Caitlin would likely be one of the first calls.
AKA all of this is really a big nothing burger.

How does Arike Ogunbawale compare to these?

Clearly it was political and a race based decision by Team USA.
It was obviously a race based decision. Thats why Team USA included 4 white players among the 12-man roster.
Posted on 6/9/24 at 3:35 pm to saintsfan22
Arike is putting up 26.6/4.2/5 on 36/30/90 with 4 turnovers on a 3 win team also.
In other words, scoring a lot more than Caitlin with slightly less turnovers on pretty bad efficiency.

Just face it, Clark isn’t diverse enough for women’s basketball.

Being that she is outgunned in every category by the rook, she should've kept her mouth shut.

I have all of this in the OP clearly where she ranks among the guards selected. She’s outperforming about half of them in every category and in the top 1-3 in others. But sure, let’s take team record into consideration over what’s happening on the court.
Also:
TRUE SHOOTING %: 1
EFFECTIVE FG %: 2
ASSISTS: 2

The two leaders of the team will be white women
One of them being a straight white Christian woman

Do you really care this much? You honestly care about women’s basketball.

How is she outperforming when most of the girls listed are scoring higher than her on higher efficiency?

I only brought up team record for the 3 players where Caitlin is putting up fairly equal numbers.

It’s all there for you in numbers. True shooting % and effective fg % notably.
Also top 3 in assists, steals, rebounds, and blocks.
And she’s doing that on a dog shite team. Imagine what she would do surrounded by great players.

It's all there for you in numbers. I literally posted all the guards from team USA's numbers.
Now do turnovers
The team is terrible. That doesn't negate that Caitlin is chucking up a lot of bad shots on a terrible team. She will 100% get better. But as for now, you take the players who are putting up better or equal numbers on better teams.

I think that breakdown shows pretty clearly that she was left off the team because bitches be hating.
