So dumb that pitchers don't make that play

They are usually the best athlete on their high school teams

Are you talking about the fly ball the Old Miss IF dropped? That was towards the OF grass.

UNC 2-0. Will be hard to win two straight against them.

But honestly, I don’t think this side wins the championship.

If UNC gets thru unbeaten and has DeCaro in G1 while the other side plays the extra game plus the one less day of rest from being the later bracket, then they will have a big advantage over whoever comes from the SEC side

Georgia will come through unbeaten as well. And DeCaro isn't an advantage over Volchko.

UNC and UGA would be a good series on paper.

If UGA goes through unbeaten then I agree but I'm not so sure that they will. They have a much tougher bracket IMO and Oklahoma is red hot. UGA will run into pitching troubles if they drop a game and it'll level the playing field if UNC goes in with their rotation set

I think Georgia can handle this freshman pitcher from Oklahoma not named Rager tho. Look at his previous starts. Gave up 5 runs to Tenn and Georgia Tech. Georgia throwing Aoki probably. Oklahoma can win but I’d be surprised if Georgia dropped this one.

people continue to say this as if it's a point in OU's favor, while completely ignoring that UGA has won 20 of its last 21 games. UGA has been the hottest team in the sport over the last 2 months.

But Oklahoma's head coach isn't a waterhead

I think you're just taking it the wrong way. Most people believe Georgia is the better team and we all know they've been on a heater as well. We're just saying Oklahoma has also heated up and is playing great ball right which gives them a chance that we wouldn't have thought was possible a month ago. I still think UGA wins tonight, I'm just saying they're in the tougher bracket and it'll be harder to get through without a loss forcing them to play an extra game
